Lets review the great picks he wasted...I know I will forget as there are so many...Josh Freeman. - who successfully ended 3 head coaching careers and one GM (impressive)Brian PriceDaQuan Bowers. - don't worry about that knee , the whole world is wrong, you are a GeniousMyron Lewis - absolute disaster on the field, got splinters sitting on the benchRoy Miller - not really more than a practice squad playerTom Crabtree - yeah, don't worry about his handsLuke Stocker - yeah, don't worry about his hands or the fact he has injury concerns. Can't make the club in the tubAlso, letting players leave and betting on his bad picks. Seattle seems to be enjoying a better DT than BowersOverpaying for a punter and not getting high quality corners to replace a depleted corner situation. Ignoring DE and DT in free agency and having no back up plan at tight end and pretending Stocker was not a bustNo hate here but he did not d talent evaluation of our team needs as GM and fix things well and overspent on a punter
Id imagine you could do this with most GMs in the league. MD was not fired because of his bad draft picks, no GM has a perfect track record. MD was fired for the simple reason which is the record our team has had over 5 seasons.Mark Dominik is actually very respected around the league and I'm betting there are numerous teams that will want him soon.
His first 2 drafts are pretty abysmal other than McCoy and Mike Williams. With that said, I don't blame him for Price. Price blew out both hamstrings and was never the same. 2011 was okay and his last 2 drafts have been good. I really don't dislike Dom. I would have been okay keeping him...but the bottom line is his last two coaches didn't work out and he's had 5 years to put together a playoff team and we are still several players away.
Can anyone on this board spell?
Dominik had to go because there is no way in hell any one worth hiring would even interview if he was still GM.
The poison is finally out of the building......it wasn't Morris.....it wasn't Schiano....even though they had their faults...no matter who the head coach was....Dominik had to go for this organization to take a step forward......Glazers finally got it right.

What the Bucs never had under Dominik.....depth.....if you wanna get thru December and potentially into January....depth is everything.
