The good:
Coen - outside of the flea flicker, he basically called a flawless game
Trio of RBs - I personally think Bucky gives us the most but all 3 are good in different ways.
Offensive line - outside of a few penalties they were close to flawless today and have been improving all season.
Baker - yes we're all pissed about the turnover surge but he still played well and quite frankly I think those picks were really well designed zone reads that disguised coverage and Baker thought he had a small window instead of going over the top.
Otton - showed up and showed out. No yips no fumbles, ran hard and blocked well.
McLaughlin - continues to be elite.
The bad:
Winfield - he got beat a bunch. Loved his effort on the Pitts td. Overall, he's regressed this year.
LVD - father time is catching up as we knew it would.
Any CB not named McCollum - just comically bad unit
Edge rushers - non-existent
The ugly:
Todd Bowles - his blitzes are obvious, his clock management is a joke, his scheme sucks, and the league has him figured out. And we don't have Godwin because of him.
KJ Britt - this is not an NFL caliber player.
Special teams outside of McClaughlin - our punting game and coverage is so fucking bad. We've had a few nice returns this year but we suck.
Licht in FA - didn't address LB or CB depth in the draft..fine. but nothing in FA and sticking with Britt and Dean? Not his best work. I'll reserve judgment on the draft for a few more years.
Whitehead - really bad. Shocking for me... I thought he'd fit right back in.
NFL refs - just kicking us in the nuts over and over with atrocious calls and it won't get any better next week vs Chiefs.
the worst and ugliest, bowles and his defense
and yes, funderburk is even worse than murphy-bunting was
the stupid - a fake punt which was not a pass
agree with all of that except out dont think the bit about Licht was optional as much as a cap/dead money thing
and I think Whitehead and AWJ are both trying to do too much in the defense (because they don't trust the rest). Pretty clear examples of Winfield leaving his side to go where there are already 2-3 DBs . . .. TD . . .. if he just stays with what must be his primary responsibility maybe not
The good...anyone who took the Falcons and gave the points. I'm a huge Bucs fan, but that bet was a no-brainer. Cousins 800+ yards and 8 TDs in the 2 games vs the Bucs. The Falcons offense has an abundance of talent. They were going to dominate again. Chiefs favored by 9-1/2. Even as bad as the Bucs are, I'm not sure I can take KC.
Offensive line - outside of a few penalties they were close to flawless today and have been improving all season.
I'm glad someone else has noticed the improvement in the Bucs O-line. Ever since Mauch was taking a lot of grief on the Red Board, I've been watching his play. I've liked what I've seen the last 2 or 3 games, including yesterday's game.

If the team was even moderately healthy it is very competitive so there are lot of positives in a season that is looking to be a down season, at least at this point.
The O-Line, the QB (even with some turnovers), the running game, some of the young receivers, although they are along way from our two starters.
Even on D there are positives, but there are also some big holes

Let's not get carried away. He's less bad... He's grading very poorly.
But so is Barton and he looked good yesterday so I don't buy into pff that much.
The unit is greater than the sum of it's parts right now imo. Big improvement.

We still have cap space tho. And I know that's for in season injuries and I'm sure there's an element of thinking ahead but he didn't do anything in the draft or FA to shore up our atrocious LB core.
He's lucky McCollum has stepped up because we KNEW Dean would shatter into a million pieces
he didn't do anything in the draft or FA to shore up our atrocious LB core.
agree this is a glaring problem
Yesterday Britt got caught in the flat against an RB. He never even touched him

Because he's literally the worst LB in the league. He's somehow worse than Devin White.

White was a head case so good riddance to that guy, but he also makes that tackle lol. Average speed probably makes that play

Not necessarily. You're assuming White knows his assignment, reads the play correctly, and could tackle Bijan Robinson in open space. None of those things are a given for Devin White's sorry ass. At least Britt completed #1 and #2 before failing on #3.
I'm not sure why you continue to need to be reminded that White was benched in favor of Britt - for a reason. He's also been on three different teams over the last 12 months - for a reason. He's never been as good as you think, and he still isn't.
I don't care for the flea flicker call but Baker could have checked that one down. No need to force it. Pretty much agree with everything else.
Fake punt was atrocious. Need to bring in another punter because Gill certainly is not the answer.
Its unfortunate we are stuck in purgatory because we'll retain Bowels next year while Coen gets poached.
