Some of you old timers know me...been quiet the last year. But I have been a season ticket holder since 1976. That is 38 years for those of you who are counting.I was looking through some stats today and boy did this depress me.In the 38 years I have been watching this team play, do you know how many times our OFFENSE has been ranked in the single digits (Top 9) in the NFL - in either points scored or yards?Brace yourself.Once in each category. In 38 doggone years!!In 2000 they finished ranked 6th in Points scored.(And you even have to ask why long time Bucs fans finally want to see a franchise QB???)But for a boobie door prize, can anyone tell me the ONLY season in 38 freakin years, and under what coach, the Bucs offense ranked in the single digits in total yards (9th)?The answer may or may not surprise you.
