Right now the Bucs are ranked 28th in the league in dropped passes. As in there are only 4 teams with fewer drops. We have 10 total for the year, for a 2.3%
Last year the Bucs ranked 7th in the league with a total of 25 dropped passes at a rate of 4.8%
Evans finished with 11 total last year, currently he is at 6.
I bring all this up after watching Freddie Martino snag balls I was sure he would have dropped..."same ole Bucs" ...but no....After recalling the numerous crucial passes that I just assumed were destined to clunk off a receivers hands, I had to check the stats.
Monken has got to be one of, if not the best offseason position coach changes. He has cut our team drops in half, and has fixed Mike Evans' hands and attitude.
