6-2 is as big of a win as we could hope for.
2-0 in the division also helps.
Big win against the Saints.
The Good
- 🔥🔥🔥Anthony Nelson. NFC Defensive Player of the Week. Don't care.
- 🔥🔥🔥 Winfield Jr.
- 🔥🔥 The rest of the secondary (Parrish and Tykee are soooooo good. Dean ballin')
- 🔥🔥 Todd Bowles. Gotta give him his flowers. Stayed aggressive. Something I think that went unnoticed, was his having the stones to go for it again on 4th down at the GL after getting stuffed out earlier.
The Bad
- 🤢🤢🤢 The "I heard a whistle". Go fuck yourself, ref.
- 🤢🤢 Graham Barton. Dude was getting his shit kicked in all game. Hasn't looked good after switching back to Center.
- 🤢🤢 While an anomaly, Wirfs wasn't good.
The Ugly
- 💩💩💩 Grizz. Absolute dogshit for the 2nd week in a row. Get it together.
- 💩💩💩 The Trevor Lawrence/Travis Hunter commercial. Someone actually thought this was a good idea.
- 💩💩💩 The Saints.
Looks like most saw Detroit ad a loss and NO as a win. Lets see what happens now after the BYE!
These next 3 games will tell a lot about us
record wise, not as much but more so how does this team perform against good competition.
Record wise - Not much because 1-2 and we still likely could end up at 12-13 wins on the year. Final 6 are all very winnable - Car X2, ATL, NO, ARZ, @MIA. That should be 5-1 at worse and expectations should be 6-0.
but the 2 top teams in the NFC are Detroit and Philadelphia and they spanked us. We came back late against the Eagles but i look at that first half as not being very close.
you then have a team like the Rams in LA. That's going to be tough but if that's another spanking, doens't bode well for us making it very far in the playoffs.
NE and Buffalo are remaining tough games on schedule. Can we show that we can beat top teams? Hope the bye week gets us better because the Lions/Saints Bucs team did not look like the one that beat the Seahawks/49ers.
Can’t take any of these post-bye predictions seriously UNTIL we see who’s coming back healthy. Way too many question marks.
Because we don’t know the status of Goedeke, Bucky, CG, I’d say the next 3 we could go 0-3.
If we get some combination of those players back, 1-2
The remaining games we should have RT, RB1, WR2 - and maybe JMac back we could be 5-1.
If we don’t get Luke back, then not much else will work and we could see a fast fade. I don’t believe that will be the case, but until we see who’s back, can’t tighten that up any further.
Well, looks like Bowles finally let the cat out of the bag on JMac - he broke bones in his neck… word is he may be out for the season.
So, either we pick up a WR in a trade (if so, a past his orine vet), or we wait for Chris to make whatever contribution he can… once vaunted WR room now relying on rookies and back-ups.

unfortunate news on JMAC but feel Tez Johnson or Sheppard can step up in the meantime. If we have a core for the playoffs of Edbuka, Evans, and Godwin; that's not the end of the world
i'm more concerned with Goedeke and Bucky. If those guys are toast, this season is shot
