Excuse the whine/rant. It took me a few days to get my head around this...
Well, here I am again. Trying to fix the unfix-able. Spending time on Sundays watching the unwatchable... Hoping for the hopeless.
This team has beat the optimism out of me and have provided little or no entertainment value, again.
For me (tongue-in-cheek), I liken it to being in an emotionally abusive relationship for 40 years with a few bright spots that are relied upon to get me through the tough times... it is insane.
This team, regardless of Owner, GM, Coaches and Players (the only sports team I follow) has been consistent in only one thing... failing. This fan base deserve to be hopeful and rewarded for our patience - I just don't know how I can wait around for another XX years for something (everything to work out and have a contender.)
All that said, I will continue to listen, may watch some of the nonsense, but it is so very easy now to just turn it off and recoup my lost time.
Final thought - I wonder what it's like to watch and support a winner? I have forgotten.
