If Clowney is there when the Raiders pick we have to outbid ATL. Our defense getting a DE of his caliber would complete the build on that side of the ball. For me this draft is Clowney or Watkins.

Because you don't know if they can sign them . What if we miss out on all of them due to any number of possible factors ?
I'm not convinced you need to draft a DE high in order to get a good one. Look around the league. They come from all over the draft.

Well....free agency is two months before the draft.....so I think we'll know for sure by then if we managed to sign one of the many great DEs in free agency.
