2019 Suh: 1.5 sacks, 12 solo tackles, 23 combined tackles, 5.0 TFLs
2019 GMC: 4.0 sacks, 12 solo tackles, 27 combined tackles, 7.5 TFLs
2019 Suh PFF rating: 61.6
2019 GMC PFF rating: 82.4
I recall GM Licht trying to sell the Bucs fans that Suh was the better fit for the defense. For the past six years, GMC has notched at least 6.0 sacks per season and it looks like he'll reach that threshold again this year.
Last year, Vea had 3.0 sacks in 8 games started (13 games played as a reserve... for shame Licht and Buckner!) This year, Vea has 0.5 sacks. Maybe Vea benefits more with GMC (and possibly the 4-3 scheme).
So... If we aren't getting after the QB, then we're exposing our weak DBs. ::: sighs :::
