Michael Roberts is next up.
After a cut, a suspension and a trade that never materialized, the Patriots made their latest move to replace Rob Gronkowski. The Patriots acquired Roberts from the Lions on Thursday for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2020, the Detroit News reported.
Roberts had a disappointing two seasons in Detroit after being taken in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Roberts battled a shoulder injury his second season after catching three touchdowns in his first two games. He finished the year with nine catches for 100 yards.
