I really could've cared less who won the title game as far as the teams were concerned, my biggest reason for rooting for Oregon was to prevent the type of lambast that would be headed Marcus' way. If he had won the game, he would have been a golden boy for us-Heisman winner, national champion- but now, he is a flawed loser and the media and scouts are turning against him, at least his former supporters. I think it would have been a little more pressure on the Bucs to pick him, not that it matters a whole lot, but media hype does influence the masses. Now, without the hype.....I think we might go Winston, so I am preparing myself. I am/will be looking for the good in Winston's game and rationalizing his behavior like the homers here, because if he is a Buc, I want to be thrilled, not distraught. 45% chance we pick Mariota. We need Winston to do something bone headed again. I know, why would you want to wish bad on a guy that could be great and lose him because of his immaturity? Because I really don't believe he is better than Marcus, off field issues be damned!
