Take heart.

Our 3 iOL aren’t world beaters. Marpet is a good player, Jensen will mostly put average but inconsistent play out there (for top dollar!), and Cappa will be a significant improvement over Benenoch (I’m expecting a season around a 64 Grade).

However, all 3 of those guys are actually decent to good Move Players. They all climb 2nd level, find their target, and at least occupy them more often than not.

You see the same thing in the Screen game from them.

Arians’ offense features quite a bit more Tailback Screens than DK’s (whose bulk of Screens were Tunnel/Bubble to WR). You’ll still see some Bubble and Smoke Screens to WR (like the Godwin score), but the impact of a higher frequency of Tailback Screens should (if successful) help out or OT against Edge rush.

On the other side of things, like I said months ago, Arians offense (unlike DK’s) puts 5 out in the passing concept routinely, putting OTs on an island nearly all the time. For instance, our TE and RB only have 37 Pass Block Snaps in 3 Preseason Games (and a few of those are Max Protect, so the actual Snap Count is around 35) despite over 140 drop backs. You can do the math there.
