I know Bowles is said to be pretty hands off as it relates to the offense, but you can tell that his fingerprint is definitely on the overall look of this offense
He’s hand off but hands on
:-)
the resident loony tune will flip a lid over your suggestion that this offense reflects Bowles philosophy
Thank you. I'll take that as a complement. You agree? Disagree? The original post… My God…the mental gymnastics…
Well good news is that it likely won’t be Bowles after a 5-12 season
Well, I'll take it back. After today I can't see Bowles being one of the options. They'll have to replace him. The defense is all Bowles, and giving up 39 points including the drive at the end - there's no excuse. You can say all you want about the offense being a work in progress, but they scored 37 points and the defense gave it away. 39 points and none came turnovers. They were just taken apart by a rookie QB. I don't know what happened to the defense, but it's a shock to the system.
I hope they can get Harbaugh, and one of the ways to do that is to be in position to draft JJ McCarthy. Right now, the Bucs seem to be on the way to checking that box at least. But Harbaugh is trying to win a championship right now, so it will be at least January before they can go about trying to hire him.
They will have to throw a lot of money at Harbaugh
team has mediocre talent
evans, Godwin, wirfs, Vea, Klancey, and Winfield are only above average players.
and two of the guys are free agents
Don’t rule out Baltimore’s Todd Monken
1) Todd Bowles. Most likely the HC of the Bucs in 2024 will be Todd Bowles.
Uh huh...
