The only house money is winning a CHAMPIONSHIP. We can talk about how we did after the season. The mentality needs to stay on the Lombardi, no one should wake up thinking I'm happy to be in the playoffs unless you like being second place. From 32 teams to 14 to 8. You're one of the final 8 teams and have a shot to win the championship, just because other grown men who have not been in your shoes placed expectations on you doesn't mean you need to listen them. We have a shot to be CHAMPIONS 180 minutes left of football, fight for those inches cause inches turn into yards, yards into tds. What happens between the lines is controlled by only what you do, what you prepared for since you were kids. Refuse to believe what the expectations of others are, and believe that you are meant to be a CHAMPION. 17 players and a coaching staff that has a ring, 4 future HOFers we have what it takes. Bury the thought of its an accomplishment to get this far and burn away your self doubt with the fire beneath you. Rip the championship away from these other 7 teams because of what you believe in what you are capable of and not a slew of media who disrespected you. We made it this far, WE want a CHAMPIONSHIP.

we just won the Super Bowl in 2020 season. I agree I will be disappointed if we lose to the lions but by Monday I will reflect on the season and holy shit, no one should be disappointed with:

i think we have a chance against lions but if this team has to face 49ers, it would be one of the greatest upsets in nfl history. A 9 win team taking out a stacked team like that?

and the playoffs do matter. Just think what Kancey and Diaby think about their future after a win like that, as a brief example.

Allow me to rebutt you with some of my 0wn hypothetical c0njecture. Why cant it be both??? This is my thought. In my mind it is BOTH. WE PLAY FOR THIS SEASON, the PLAYERS, COACHES, and EVEN THE FANS in a 12th man kinda way. But dont forget we have other teammates that dont even play a single down on the field. They are The GLAZERZ>JL>FRONT OFFICE STAFF>>>>>>>and to a lesser extent fan base "pulse" so to speak. These players play...no!!!, rather "live" football both completely now...in fact singular focus on the Kitties first and then the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP, and Then WHO KNOWS!!!! They play football now and live football over seasons!!!! We have players on all sides, we have players on the field Baker leads the offense, The DEFense HAS MORE LEADERS THAN I CAN COUNT ON ONE HAND!!!!, We have players coaching the new blood. Bowles was a player was he not, and a good DEFENSIVE player, was he not. JL did that didnt he??? Anyhoo, we have a rookie OC, and a virtual rookie at QB and BOTH are KILLIN IT IMHO. the pressure is more on lions. They won’t be content with a loss in second round to inferior team at home. Would be considered a choke job.
the Bucs fans on the other hand while we want to win Super Bowl, a loss to the lions should not spark a Bowles should be fired or mayfield isn’t our 2024 QB thread, albeit likely will due to lower IQ posters
and yes before you say it, I hope the players feel differently and stomp on the lions, come out with same intensity as eagles game. Just saying keep expectations reasonable and realistic folks
I say this is because a team will take a reflection on how the media sees them how they see them. Battles are won in the hearts of men. You have to believe that you are capable to do it. When you have everyone telling you good job you get complacent you lose your edge and you wait til next year.
I don’t want this team to lose their edge. If I was a player and when the reporters come and talk to me about how I’m good everything is good it makes you wanna relax, but you have to consistently not drink your own Kool aid and keep that effort, that dawg. It’s how saban and belichick won multiple championships they keep that dawg in their players.
