really like this one since the senior bowl in 2010... a tweener tackle/endcould be a great backup for McCoy and competition for LDE position... have some special teams ability...this season, he was Buffalo's starting left end, placed on injured reserve(week 3) with a torn left quadriceps tendon, ending his season. Lots of quality DE sitting there this year Melon. I think the Bucs should target both a top & mid-tier UFA DE while the gettin's good.

He's a DE in their 3-4 but he'd be a DT in a 4-3 scheme
Orakpo, Arthur Jones, Hardy, or Jared Allen....1 would be good...2 would be solid
Don't think Orapko is a FA. I grow more confident every day Jared Allen will be a Buc in 2014...
We essentially need 2 starting DEs for a solid 3 man rotation. It will be a big disappointment if we dont land one of the better available DEs. We have a shot at landing some decent FA pass rush now that Dom is gone.

Based on last year's free agent market he'd be lucky to get 2 years for a total of 9.5 million. That's right around what Freeney and Umenyiora got last season. The salary cap is about the same this year, so I'd expect the free agent contracts to be about the same, too.

I don't know what the Bengals salary cap situation is, but I know they just gave big contracts to Geno Atkins and Carlos Dunlap, then drafted Margus Hunt. I don't know how much money they can tie up in the D-line
