There were two Democratic politicians murdered this year in cold blood. Not only did many on the right mock it, but I didn't see any statement or honoring of them from the NFL.
I haven't seen the NFL mourn or honor the endless deaths of children at the hands of a psycho with a gun.
In the end, there's no moral high ground for either side because nobody is willing to actually DO anything about this... Largely because of NRA donations but also our country is obsessed with guns from a culture standpoint.
