The lack of talent has been a problem since 2008 where the team has been missing such talent in key areas:
1. Need another DE opposite of Spence to team with Ayers and J. smith.
2. Start to groom McCoy's replacement and also add depth at DT.
3. Capable OT's in pass pro. Kick Donovan Smith to the inside or as the RT.
4. Re-sign Rodgers and other young role players.
5. A bonafide true #2 WR
6. A true FS with range
7. A Cb that can run and has length to be opposite of Hargreaves
The team isn't far off from turning the corner. I do not think coaching is the problem and it has never really been the main problem with this team the last 10 years honestly.
People will cite the Patriots, but if I am being honest the Patriots are a very talented team compared to the Bucs. Cowboys are clearly more talented than the Bucs and the same with the Giants which are on the verge of competing in another Super Bowl. Only team that I think is playing above and beyond their talent is the Packers but that o-line is legit all pro and Rodgers is going to surpass Brees/Brady in the near future.
