LT Donovan Smith
You have to like his size and ability to put his mitts on defenders and erasing them. If he can stop speed rushers he instantly becomes a top 15 OT in the NFL. Also, if D. Smith take the step forward as necessary it means the Bucs only have to worry about future RT candidate to replace Dotson. Bucs have several in house candidates for that (eg Wester, Benonch).
DE Noah Spence
Very aggressive with his hands and the relentless nature of his play all signal he is on the edge of having a coming out party in 2017. Best part of Spence is that he hasn't even hit his ceiling yet...
CB Ryan Smith
Biggest question mark of 2017 hands down. But he is a smooth operator when it comes to back pedal and flipping his hips which it always made me wonder why they tried to force him at safety when clearly he should have been training at CB. If he takes the step forward that the organization thinks he can he will transform the Bucs defense for 2017 and years to come. Not all CB's have to be elite to be a big part of defensive success. Ryan Smith is a good example of developing a player and emerging if it all comes together.
