Way over the cap , no OC , HC who is on the hot seat , roster of old players

bite the bullet this year , let players like David walk , get all the comp pics you can get

They should roll with Trask this year , see what you got

if he is bad , better draft pick the following year , in a deep QB class

They will bring in competition for Trask.   As I've said, there is a lot of incentive to make it work with Trask, but they won't just hand him the job.  The Seahawks brought in Geno Smith. The Panthers got something out of Sam Darnold.  They didn't cost an arm and a leg.  Smith and Darnold will their money this year, but who is this year's Geno Smith?   Who is that veteran quarterback who's been a backup/spot starter who is been biding his time on the bench, gone through some trials and tribulations, but is finally ready to become a starter?   That's who the Bucs have to find.  A guy who can come in for a paltry $5 to $10 mil and compete with Trask and Gabbert for the starting job as a bridge guy.  Then draft a guy in 2024 if they can.

At least everyone knows Brady is out and so even though that sucks at least the challenge ahead is crystal clear.

Next step . .  hiring an OC who wants to be with the "warm seat" head coach through a "rebuild"

Maybe Ryan Griffin will finally get his chance to shine.

I see me drinking heavily next season.

Tear it all down and rebuild. Wish Brady would of come back but thankful he announced his decision so early. Now we know our direction.

maybe Monken brings in Baker for competition with Trask?

Just please no Carr or Jimmy G... Last thing I want is for us push the cap down the road to try to go 8-9 again to maybe sneak into the playoffs without having any real shot.

2024 QB pool looks great. Even if were too good for Caleb, Drake Maye anyone?

Quinn Ewers is another top prospect that may be in the 2024 QB draft list.

I agree about not signing a big FA QB.  Roll with Trask this season and find out if he can or can't be an NFL QB.

Jacoby Brissett could be a good pick up for some one. Hopefully not here, I really want a shot at young stud QB prospect.

I hope Bucs roll with Trask though since we invested a round two pick. Lets see what the kid is made up of. Brissett would have us at 8-9/9-8 at best; Trask may have higher upside to sink or swim.

Agreed.

Aside from that, start blowing it up.

Insure LVD and Evans finish their careers here, trade White (or at least try), start prepping for Dean and Wirfs extensions, etc.

Get us prepped to be an attractive option for the next regime.

Hire Monken as OC and draft Stetson Bennett late. Let Trask battle it out with Stetson. We can spend our 1st and 2nd on a OT and a corner.

Our defense will be top half of league. And maybe Monken can pull enough magic out of his hat to secure the NFC South crown again. If it doesn’t work out, then we get a new HC in ‘24.

I doubt we sign Dean... or should I say, I doubt Dean stays after getting benched for SMB.

Imo we let everyone walk and get those comp picks

Extend: Winfield, Wirfs

I'd love to keep Dean but I think I'd rather draft a CB.

Trade White if we can

Cut Fournette

See if Gage will take a reduction if not trade/cut

Trade Jensen and give the center to Hainsey

Build the offense around: Evans, Godwin, White, Otton.

Draft well and don't waste picks on bullshit
