http://nfltraderumors.co/former-bears-hc-marc-trestman-oc-aaron-kromer-could-be-candidates-for-bucs-oc-job/ Update:Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Titans have denied the Buccaneers request to speak with tight ends coach Mike Mularkey for their offensive coordinator position.Usually, teams will allow coaches the ability to interview for non-lateral positions, so it’s somewhat interesting to see the Titans prevent him from meeting with the Bucs.———–Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that the Buccaneers are expected to request an interview with Titans tight end coach Mike Mularkey for their offensive coordinator position.Mularkey was hired as the Jaguars head coach back in 2012. However, he lasted just one year with the team and was later replaced by Gus Bradley after he led Jacksonville to a 2-14 record.Tennessee brought him in to coach their tight ends a year ago.————Rick Stroud of the Tampa Tribune reports that the Buccaneers are expected to request interviews with 49ers OC Greg Roman and Jets OC Marty Mornhinweg and Falcons OC Dirk Koetter in the coming days.According to Stroud, other candidates are likely to include: former Bears HC Marc Trestman, former Browns HC Rob Chudzinski and former Vikings HC Brad Childress.Stroud mentions the Buccaneers’ offensive coordinator position should be a reasonably attractive job given that they do have the No. 1 overall pick and are likely to use it on a young quarterback. Plus, Lovie Smith is a defensive minded head coach who is likely to give them full control over the unit.————
