Yes, the loud and brash T-Kraz is spouting 4-13 because of "question marks". Don't get me wrong, I respect him for calling it like he sees it. He predicts 4-13. I don't think he's just trying to get a rise out of people, or is he? I don't know for sure. But I want honesty, not people blowing smoke because of what they think people want to hear. So if that's what he really thinks, then that's what I want him to say. But why? How does he get to 4-13?
Ronnie Lane predicted 7-10, so he says both of them are in agreement about double digit losses, but no they aren't both in agreement. 4-13 is losing on a different level.
The Bucs have talent on both sides of the ball. Superbowl talent? Probably not. But they have talented players who have character and professionalism. Evans, David, Vea, Wirfs, Winfield. They aren't going to phone it in. I don't think T-Kraz would dispute that there are some talented players on the Bucs. The O-line has questions, but note that he made this prediction before Jensen turned up not fully healthy. It's not a 4-13 O-line. They aren't starting from scratch.
T-Kraz says the "question marks" are Mayfield and Bowles. What would you say about two guys who you think are going to take a team that is decent in many respects and turn it into 4-13? You don't predict 4-13 because of "question marks." You predict 4-13 because you think the QB and the coach are garbage!
The Bucs aren't going to question mark their way to 4-13. If this particular Bucs team with the players they have goes 4-13 (injuries happen, but he's not predicting based on injuries), it's because the QB sucks and the coach is incompetent. So T-Kraz should come out and say what he thinks. Question marks? T-Kraz you call it like you see it, so call it like you see it! Don't be chicken shit and pull your punches!
Are they so bad that they will be the reason the Bucs go into the tank this year, and possibly make an early exit from this team? If they are that bad, that's what would probably happen. Do you agree? Are Mayfield and Bowles that bad?
I’ll tell you after the season. :) There’s no doubt we have talent. But the NFL is about the QB and coaching. I think Mayfield can be a piece of a good offense, but not carry a unit. If we’re able to run the ball and he can truly be a point guard, then he should do fine. As for Bowles, his biggest issue is with in-game adjustments. If he comes out with a good defensive gameplan we usually have a pretty good defensive game. But if the plan falls flat early or the opponent makes successful in-game changes, he doesn’t adjust well. These factors will make the biggest difference in our record.
Its hard to win in the NFL. Yes the Bucs are talented and have pro bowl type players on this roster but two of the most questionable and important deciding factors in winning and losing are QB and Head coach.
In-game management
Bowles falls short as a good in-game head coach, last year he made too many mistakes being conservative and cost us games. That was with the legendary goat Tom Brady as his qb. I'm not convinced with Baker Mayfield he is going to change any, in addition to an already turnover prone QB as his guy. Defense will be top 10 again, offense will show flashes this year but I see a handful of L's where we lose by a 3-4 points. OL and DL have surrounding question marks as well. No clue how that right side of the OL will hold up both starters are inexperienced. So when you have ??????'s at QB and OL its hard to sit up here and say yeah Bucs should win 7-8 games this season. Get ready for the its a "new offense guys will need to get use to playing together in" excuse when Mayfield is struggling to hit open targets by week 5.
I don't think we are Chicago Bears bad but I can definitely see a Broncos type record or Cardinals winning 4-5 games. That should put us in the top 3-5 which I'm OK with.
Don’t forget we’ll be considerably better without that total buffoon Leftwhich calling our offense this year. Will be nice without the defenses knowing exactly what plays were going to run.
Well as Bucs fans we have the head coach and starting QB as question marks but I can tell you most NFL non Bucs fans have them both as garbage!
Let’s see in the last twelve months, one guy is on his 4th team in that span; the other essentially ended Brady’s career
again I have them as 7-10 but hope to hell I’m wrong and they make playoffs again! I believe baker has potential and he’s got the WR core here to turn it around
as for Bowles, I like him much better as a defensive coordinator. He lost the locker room in like week 7 last year so still have that sour taste in my mouth
Despite the challenges at HC and QB this team can win 7-9 games. To me if this team shows a competitive edge they can win 10 games with the current schedule.
I think people are over hyping the talent on the other NFC south teams and also the NFC is wide open. Aaron Rodgers is out of the conference now and the best the NFC now has is Prescott, Geno, Cousins, Hurts, Carr etc.
Bucs have shown they can compete against that tier of QB on defense. But the offense has to show up to the party....
Some of you people are delusional. This team went 8-9 with Brady pulling 4 games out of ass vs bad teams. Bowles last 3 years with the Jets were 5-11, 5-11, 4-12. Then a losing record with Tom Brady in a terrible division.
Bad QBs
Bad HC
No pass rush
4-13 might be generous
What’s the over under….6.5?
the first 7 games look tough where I could see a 1-6 start, loss of locker room and carousel at QB which leads to that 3,4 win season
on paper the second half doesn’t look all that tough but then again look at last year with losses to Carolina, Pittsburgh and going to OT with Arizonas third string QB
those with hope are banking on mayfield turning it around and play calling helping…
I do wonder what the Bucs front office is expectations are…returning 7 of 11 starters from our superbowl D; but only 4 of 11 for the offense
I'm skeptical about our coaching. Hopefully it's not bad this season and he is better. If not I could see a miserable season ahead and just tank for that one usc dude.
Are Mayfield and Bowles that bad?
Is Baker better than the "garden variety QB" we had last year?
Are Mayfield and Bowles that bad?

it baker puts up the numbers Brady did last year, many would consider him the QB of the future and he gets himself a meaty contract extension.
It’s all about perspective. Brady was MVP caliber his first 2 years with us which is why we were struggling to watch last year.
Ole Lefty made it a struggle to watch last season. There are very few worse things than watching a predictable offense getting hammered by a defense that clearly knows what's coming. And a defense that was sorely outclassed in the playoffs by a mid-level Cowboys offense. Made Dak look All-Pro.
The Bucs are loaded with question marks
they have an OC who has never called plays
They have a questionable O-line
no proven QB
no running game
no big threat at TE
no 4 man pass rush
LVD a year older
a HC with a losing record
maybe they answer some of those questions (certainly hope so) but as someone posted above it’s not that difficult to imagine the Bucs struggling early and the season falling apart as a result.
which is why we were struggling to watch last year.
Amazing what happens when you go from Arians to Lefty.
It's like going from a Waygu burger to a turd sandwich.
Wouldn’t hate it
would put us in a good position for Caleb Williams or drake maye!
