Good franchises have a competitive team every year.Â
The Bills are one of the top teams in the league right now.Â
The Bills were once in four straight Super Bowls (I think)

There were about 20 years in between those two statementsÂ

Took the Bills 20 years to find a replacement for Jim Kelly!

OK dude. I didn't say "all Bucs fans" or that all Bucs fans were like me. Yes Sapp called out White, and plenty of people chimed in on the side of Sapp on this board, and I don't remember anybody defending White. Maybe you did. My mistake. It seems like I say stuff and you guys just disagree because I'm the one saying it. Bucs fans are not happy when they see bad football. They are even less happy when they see uninspired football when players seem to be going through the motions. That's probably true for all NFL fans, but I'm more familiar with the Bucs fans. It's one thing to be philosophical about things during idle offseason chatter, but when the games are being played it's a different story. Am I wrong about this? How is this a controversial statement? It's not.Â
On offense I do not think they upgraded at any of the positions so far. So the offense is going to be heavily reliant on younger players hopefully improving and also offensive scheme helping out. Defensively I do believe the Bucs upgraded at DL and Safety.
So all the focus on the offense I understand but I think people are underestimating the additions of Neal and Gaines. Gaines is more of a reliable player than Hicks and will allow Vea to go back to playing nose exclusively. Gaines also brings a little more juice in passing situations which is an upgrade compared to Roach. Neal is so versatile that he can blanket his man and that frees up Winfield. Having Vea and Winfield back to doing what they do best while adding pros like Gaines and Neal while under cap strain is win/win.
The defense is going to surprise people and especially if the rookies like Diaby and Ramirez can pitch in a few sacks, hurries and pressures in rotation. Nelson we know is still improving and even Shaq at 80% is still going to help the defense. JTS though has to show up along with Hall.Â

you posted that all Bucs fans were like you (ie you posted on behalf of Bucs fans)
Heres' the facts:Â Bucs fans put up with a lot, but the one thing they have zero tolerance for is a lack of effort.

Or because . . . .

You keep posting as the "Bucs fan" mind reader . . . as if your thoughts are representative of all Bucs fans . .Â
Yes Sapp called out White, and plenty of people chimed in on the side of Sapp on this board, and I don't remember anybody defending White. Maybe you did. My mistake
Speaking on behalf of all Bucs fans you said THEY have a specific "pet peeve" over lack of effort and PROOF of that was the way THEY reacted to the White play against the Ravens
Â
That's just made up BS PRECISELY because you assign it to "Bucs fans."Â
White deserves the blame and I dont defend him AT ALL . . but most Bucs fans never even see that play without SAPP
Â
Â
I am just poking fun at your posting in circles because your comments are meandering all over the place. You keep posting your opinion CLAIMING IT IS FACT and then when other posters responded to walk back from your opinion to some new opinion and the best part? You claim that its really OTHERS who are to blame!
Â
It seems like I say stuff and you guys just disagree because I'm the one saying it.

Uh . . or . . maybe . . because others here are responding to the words you typed . . . over . . and over . . and over.
I'm speaking for this Bucs fan, not all Bucs fans. 🤣 IMHO the 2023 season will be considered a success if the Bucs win 8-9 games. IMHO they will likely win around 5-6 games. If they were to somehow win 10+ games, that will be quite an unexpected accomplishment.

How many wins do you think it will take for Bowles to save his job? ÂI'm speaking for this Bucs fan, not all Bucs fans. 🤣 IMHO the 2023 season will be considered a success if the Bucs win 8-9 games. I'm just responding to comments of others. For example, I said it's a fact that Bucs fans don't tolerate uninspired play. Well, true as that may be, technically it's an opinion and not a fact, because I don't present statistics to back it up. OK. They're right. It's an opinion. Sheesh. However, that's nitpicking on their part - but let me clarify that's just my opinion, not factually verified information. It's nitpicking. ÂYes Sapp called out White, and plenty of people chimed in on the side of Sapp on this board, and I don't remember anybody defending White. Maybe you did. IMHO the 8-9 wins scenario will save his job. Anything less and the seat will be very hot.

Agree
Â
i guess he could stay with less wins depending on how the team lost. For example, defense pays really well but games lost by terrible QB play.Â

Anything less than playoffs and he’s gone.Â
And, rightfully so.Â
