Not that the season is technically over, but just philosophically speaking, I can't accept tanking this season. We've already got a QB we are planning to ride for at least another season or two. I would rather see enough wins and recovery from a disastrous start to the season to keep Koetter and have a 3rd year coach for the first time since Gruden. Easier for a team near 8-8 to make a jump the next year than a team that consistently drafts in the top ten.
I know many are clamoring for the team to tank for Chubb, but while Chubb would be great, I would rather have a more consistent team than completely rebuilding. Where does everyone stand on this issue this season?
