We had them on the ropes but people act as if we aren't even in the same league. What's the point of playing the game then?
Consider this... If the Bucs had held on to win that game. Seattle doesn't win their division.

They had something to play but according to some they didn't take us seriously.Like we were some FBS team and didn't belong on the same field.
Coaching not to lose in the second half lost us that game.
Maybe, but the fact that they are a MUCH better team also cost us that game. They simply turned up the pressure
So at will they could have beat us 24-0 in the first half and not even not made it a game? Or we played a great half of football.. Which one?
probably a little of both, although the first scenario would be tough for a top team playing at home in a stadium like that against an "0 for" team like the BucsI am not discounting our play, I thought it was great, but I don't think one could say with a straight face that the Bucs just blew themselves up in the second half and that is the SOLE reason we lost? The Hawks underestimated the Bucs early, as they should've, they woke up at half and turned up the heat. That played a big role in the outcome of the game. That's not discounting the Bucs, that's commenting on human nature. Just like last night, Seattle totally dominated Denver especially early, but it was never going to be a shutout. Why? Because humans slow down when they are up 36 to nothing. In our game, we probably slowed down a bit with our lead and we probably got conservative, BUT Seattle also sped up . .
We are left to wonder what could have been had the coaching staff been competent.
If we won that game Schiano may still have his job.
We came out after being a complete trainwreck for the first half of the season. We caught the Seahawks off guard, almost like all they had to do was show up and we would crumble. Once they got going we weren't going to win that game.
A necessary failure I guess. I'm much happier with the state of the franchise, as a whole, right now than I have been in quite some time.

Whew that was a close one... ;D
i have trouble believing russell wilson just half a$$es it.
We caught them sleeping. Nothing more, nothing less. 24-0 woke them up. They scored 27-0 against us the rest of the game. They woke up and shut us down.
Trap game. Happens all the time.

lol, not even . . . . I kid, I kid.Trap games happen all the time in the NFL and it was exactly that . . a penciled-in win . . the pitiful Bucs playing on the West Coast. That is not a negative comment on the Bucs though . . its the Super Bowl Champs . . . the winless 2013 Bucs were not as good as the Super Bowl Champs . . on the West Coast . . in the toughest stadium in the NFL . . is that really controversial?
Its the NFL. It is what makes is awesome. Parody dominates the game. If you pay close attention while watching a game, the difference between a 45-7 game and a 27-24 game is often just a few plays, bounces of the ball, missed calls, etc. It wasn't a fluke that the Bucs were winning 24-0. Football is football fellas.
