Allowing Brady's last season to be ruined by horrific coaching is one of the biggest blunders in all of pro sports history by ownership. They should be ashamed and embarrassed. It's a perfect example of how inept they are, and the reason this franchise was a disaster for the previous 15 seasons until Brady's arrival. It's right back to 5 wins or less next year. Bowles will be fired after the season (never earned the job in the first place), and yet another full rebuild will follow. This is a clinic on mismanagement. If you're still giving the Glazers your money, you're a fool.
when he retired in 2022, it hurt because the Bucs were dominate superbowl contenders

after seeing the abortion that was the 2022 season, i can say i handled the 2023 retirement much better...

will we likely suck for the foreseeable future?Β Sure.Β but trying to force and recapture 2020/2021 dominance would have have been an uphill battleΒ
I'm not anxious to see Trask. I'd rather draft one this year and build around him. Bowles may be inclined this way as it buys time for him and his OC. I certainly hope Licht isn't going to force Trask down his throat.
I donβt think Bowles will be running the draft , that will be JL jobΒ

Of course Licht runs the draft. Licht doesn't want to sink Bowles though, so if Bowles and his new OC and QB coach don't think Trask is the guy, they need to be lobbying Licht to draft a QB that they like. I mean, as I understand it, Licht's way of working is about consensus with his staff and the coaches, so I'm hoping they all reach the conclusion that they need to draft one.

@blackwater o line and Barrett injuries along with gronk and ab gone sure didnβt help.
