A lot of people think I’m weird for running with a bottle when I ran 10ks(I haven’t ran 10k’s in awhile; i still run, but on my own). Shoot, they think I’m weird running with a water bottle in my hand just when I’m running around town.
I mean I’d run with a bottle when I ran for my cross-country teams from high school to college. And, they all thought that was a little weird! All my fellow cross country runners that is.
Most people have this idea of getting some water before you run, then run, and then re-hydrate after the run.
–on the other hand, drinking a lot of water can give those side cramps during a race.
