That's right.
Tom and Bill have been beefing for a while and it's finally hit it's breaking point. Especially after today's loss at home to a 4 win Dolphin team.
Tom is not going to retire. And he will not be resigning with New England.
He will call his shot as to where he wants to play, and a lot of people have pointed to the LA Chargers. A team with solid talent and a major need to sell tickets.
If I am Brady, my first option has to be the Bucs.
Exhibit A - Evans and Godwin.
We have 2 of the best WRs in the league, definitely the best duo in football. Sprinkle in OJ Howard and possibly Breshad Perriman and Brady would be a kid in a candy store.
Exhibit B - Respectable Coaching
I don't see Brady playing for just any coaching staff. Not only does Tampa have the best offensive weapons, they have some of the best coaches in the league as well. Brady likely has a great deal of respect for Arians and that pairing would be magic.
Exhibit C - A strong, rising defense.
The fact that the defense has taken great strides would alleviate any concern that Tom would have to consistently throw his way out of big time point deficits, as he would have with past Buc defenses. Granted we will likely lose someone, maybe JPP? But the nucleus of this defense will remain and continue getting stronger.
If you stop and think about it, Tampa Bay and Tom Brady are a perfect match, with Tampa being a QB away from contending, and Brady needing a talented team that can win now in what should be the last year or two in the NFL.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm calling it now. Tom Brady will be the next QB of the Buccaneers.

With Brady in the fold, the Bucs make a surprising jump into the top 10 on draft night to select QB Justin Herbert to groom for a year or two while Brady is busy winning us rings.
