We all know that the Bucs, as a franchise, have made some major boneheaded mistakes since their start in 1976. If we lose Liam Coen to takeover as a head coach for another team this offseason… where does that mistake fall in the top 10?
It would be pretty bad
im not sure they let it happen
simple solution; Bucs win the superbowl and Bowles retires on top 😉

simple
Drafting Roberto aguyao
Drafting Kyle trask(or any qb round 2 that year)
switching to those ugly jerseys the alarm clock ones
@badabingbucs - in reality, how does this play out?
Having Coen carry the team, like he has all year.
@donkey_hunter - next week is set up for a win… (lessor win). If we win, we’re in the playoffs. If we lose, it hurts bad, but Bowles is out and Coen is in.
Bucs fans and media are overeating Coen and Baker and underrating the offensive line.

I'll give you Aguyao, and the uniforms....Trask makes sense in that Brady retirement talk was a yearly thing, and who doesn't want a potential QB for the foreseeable future that can learn from the best to ever do it behind the scenes ? Hindsight is 20/20 but I understand the logic at the time.
That being said those mis-steps don't even rank in the top 5 I don't think..
Bo Jackson situation
Toes on the Line/MRSA/Freeman debacle
Ray Perkins getting into a fight where punches were thrown during halftime with a player on the team and not be fired (Ron Heller)
Writing down the wrong name on a draft card, then trading away next years #1 to move up and select the player you intended on drafting(one was a bust and the other average at best)
Trading away a first and a fourth rd pick for a one year rental of Revis and then cutting him outright rather than trade him again
as an organization, bo jackson pick
as a team, bowles bonehead all out blitz on stafford/kupp play

i dont know why you think Bowles is out if Bucs miss playoffs. You say it like it's a guarantee.
to me, making playoffs is always better than missing the playoffs
The management team will find a way to keep Coen around, just like Detroit found a way to keep their OC around an extra year.
We can worry about January 2026 when the time comes
bowles might be a good HC in keeping the team in a good mood and running the team well, but he is a poor clock manager and poor situational decission maker. the worst thing: his defense is awful against the pass, and that‘s not only because it is very good against the run. his pass defense is based on the opponent making mistakes … plain awful!
I am pretty sure Glazers are happy with him, but now in danger of losing Cohen anything is possible. And it is a great chance formour team … keep this offense runnin and find someone to fix the defense. add poor division quality and it is a clear win-win situation!

What is different about last year's OL vs. this year's OL? You don't think Barton is that good and the only other difference is Bredesen - who is the weakest player of the five.
Meaning, how do you ignore Coen's role in their playing (significantly) better, i.e. scheme, ability to be multiple in the run game, and his OL coach?
one has to be blind not to realize what coen means for this team now
