No Licht ... no Brady
that's not foolish that's FACTS
Speaking of winning culture, here's Licht's record prior to Brady arriving:
34-62 (one winning season).
That's not foolish that's FACTS
34-62 isn't very good for the "wellspring" of the culture change.

your dishonest take would translate to wellpuddle lmao

Licht's first pick ever was the best Buc of all-time. Since then, he's drafted by anyone's estimation, 7 of the top 15 Bucs of all-time. Sometimes this board reads like Licht went on a spree in the off-season banging your girls. He's damn good at his job, much better than you are at yours.
About that 2022 season, the one that was the other side of the Tom Brady coin ... that season ended with the Bucs getting demolished by the Cowboys.
the first game of the season they beat the Cowboys. This is in SR's Fab 5
"At Bowles’ direction, returning offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich featured Leonard Fournette, who ran for 127 yards on 21 carries. Bowles wanted the Bucs to be more balanced on offense, but that sentiment didn’t last as Leftwich shied away from the run for the rest of the season and Tom Brady led the league in pass attempts at age 43. That led to Leftwich’s firing after the 2022 season."

To just put a nice little bow on this one:
The Wellspring's record pre-Brady: 34-62 or .354 winning percentage
The Wellspring's record post-Brady: 51-33 or .607 winning percentage
There is a pretty clear line of demarcation where the culture change came from for anyone that doesn't love making foolish arguments.

The chicken tells the egg
Didn’t realize he drafted Brooks. Go on
The biggest Evans fan ^^ arguing to argue even though he fully understood the point

well i didn't say it but thought it would be interesting to guess who he might mean
so Licht joined in 2024
would think Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Tristian Wirfs are the only guys currently there in the top 15
Outside looking in probably Ali Marpet, Vita Vea, and Antonio Winfield. If he extends this out to top 30, then yeah you can likely get to 7...but otherwise, looks like an exaggeration.
and I think Licht is probably our best GM of all time. I mean, that's not saying much, i am sure some will argue McKay but just saying Licht if not already, might overtake him
It's not foolish to see Brady as a culture changer but neither is it foolish to credit Licht when but for Licht there is no Brady and when Licht 's team continues to win (with less) while the team unloads the negative side to Brady
the idea that someone like Bucky Irving (a wasted 4th rd pick, right?) or Wirfs or LVD still succeeds because of Brady .. as opposed to who they are and the current coaches and GM ... is foolish.
and I think Licht is probably our best GM of all time.
He is. McKay deserved credit too. They both have ups and downs
Heres an exercise for anyone who cares
Brady is the GOAT and his presence brings guys like Gronk and he definitely changes the culture in 2020. But even if one was to put aside that Licht brought Brady here (laughable but okay) just look at the Super Bowl team. And I don't just mean the defense (Licht gets 100% credit there? Licht/Arisn/Bowles).
on offense they FEATURE Licht guys too. From a draft pick like Jones to future HOF Wirfs and Evans to Godwin and Marpet and even Jensen ...
not discounting Brady. Just saying there is a reason he chose the Bucs and it's not just taxes lol

Name ‘em
Evans, Wirfs, Marpet, Vea, Antoine Winfield Jr, Godwin, Goedeke
You already counted Evans. So, that one’s out.
I’ll give you Wirfs, AWJ, and Godwin. Those are locks.
You can make an argument either way for the rest.
Regardless, nobody here is arguing that Licht hasn’t brought in talent.
