He's formally requested a trade from the Ravens because he wants to play LT, and the Ravens just made Ronnie Stanley one of the league's highest paid LTs.
Brown's been great at RT and he's filled in admirably at LT when Stanley went down for the Ravens this season.
I'd gladly send the Ravens the #32 pick for Brown, let Donovan Smith go and we have 2 more years of Brown on a rookie 3rd round contract.. maybe lock him up long term next off-season. It would not only be an upgrade on the Oline, but it'd clear up plenty of cap space allowing us to pay Godwin, Shaq and LVD.
D.Smith is the 9th highest paid LT for 2021, and at this point I'd rather hold on to Jensen's salary.
I think it's a no-brainer, but I think the Ravens will play hardball.
