Is Mallett the one that was supposedly addicted to Meth?
You think that Texans front office will see Glennon as the answer? When they can have the best college QB in the country? LOL
Who wouldn't want a young Peyton Manning?

or a New Myron Lewis
Damnit. When did they announce it? My internet has been out.
I think it was like a month ago man, how long have you been without internet? =P
A week. Thought that it wasn't certain yet.
So Glennon is an above average back up and now we're trading him? Makes perfect sense.
I think the Texans will select Blake Bortles #1 overall.

I mean, I guess nothing is "certain" until the deadline to declare has passed, but he said it pretty boldly and has yet to back off of it. The real interesting one is Johnny Football. I thought he was a sure fire goner, he says he is undecided.

Magic word...backup.Yeah ny, I would trade any backup in the league for JUST a shot at an elite qb. Especially on a team who's "best" in over ten years was freeman, a 16th overall pick. You've heard of soul searching, well, we need to go qb searching.
BoB- Is good friends with GOL so he will have more insights than most about BortlesBoB- Lost a game to Bortles this year and was very complimentary after the game.BoB- Likes big QB's with strong arms from what I have read and Bortles fits this. That is if they don't trade for a QB.Could be a potential trade for Mallet because I think BoB had a hand in drafting and developing him while with the Pats. I don't think it takes a #1 to get Mallet and bet NE would take the Texans 2nd round pick. Texans could then trade down with the team who want their QB the most and acuire more picks and still pick in the top 7.
Basically what I'm saying is that if Glennon is not the type of QB that Lovie wants, why not be the ones to get that second round pick rather than the Patriots? It's at least worth looking into.
I'd take the Texans 65 (3rd) and 129 (5th) for him... as long as we had a plan at QB otherwise. They still have Schaub and Yates...Seems like a fairy tale anyway...
I read earlier today that it would take O'Brien really wanting Schaub for him to be a Texan this next season. They have Case Keenum and TJ Yates, but neither fits the bill for what O'Brien reportedly likes in a QB (tall, strong arm, lives for football).
If the Bucs have a QB who they really like and we can trade #7 and Glennon for #1, this trade is a no brainer. However, I'm not sure there's any QB's I'm completely sold on this year.

If thats all it took to move up to #1, I would do it and be happy with Teddy. He isnt as "cant miss" as Luck was...but few are.

Why would they take the 3rd or 4th best QB in the draft with the number one pick?
