NFL football is NOT complicated. If you were game planning against the Bucs, especially now in the playoffs, you’d play 2 deep to try to negate Evans. The Bucs would most likely be UNABLE to punish you out of that defense because they
CANNOT RUN
DONT HAVE A SEAM SPLITTING TE
So rush 4 with occasional double A gap blitzes and basically try to stop … who? Godwin. Okay, he’s great and looks more healthy but he is ONE player.
play to make the Bucs go the length of the field and even then bog down in the RZ because no run game, limited mismatch threats.
who is are “can’t stop him” RZ target? We don’t have one.
lolz, another clueless wonder.
That means so much coming from
"no correlation between running and passing"
"covid is just the flu"

when you find another poster so boring you cant be bothered to post more than a small fraction of his brain dead posts
Give it a third shot, champ. There’s a minuscule possibility there will be something accurate and/or witty.
I kid. There’s no shot of that happening.
if Bucs lose first round, fire Bowles and lefty; trade first for Payton.
They're not going to fire Bowles and they're not going to trade for Payton. I'd be shocked.
Also, can this roster, that has taken some hits in the last year, actually afford to give up a 1st round pick for a non-player? I don't think so.
Most likely scenario, in my mind, is Lefty goes and Bill O'Brien takes over the offense. Brady may be up for that rather than switching teams to follow Payton.
Brady retires. Lefty moves on. Bowles gets to build out his staff.
We hope he can pull some of the old Tom Brady out of his ass and make something happen. But that didn't happen during the season, except for one game, and there's no reason to think it will happen next season.
Reason #1 - Byron Leftwich will be replaced. thats the only reason we need. its that simple, everyone knows it, everyone has eyes. He was handed a job he never deserved and road the coattails of one of the most talented offensive rosters in the entire history of the sport. the minute it fizzled out to just normal talent level, and not generational talent level, it called for some actual OC competence which he was swiftly exposed on.
Reason #2 - the receiver group situation will be better day 1 next year than it was this year with Godwin at 100%. He just now appears to be reaching around 90% and were seeing how big of a deal thats making. Julio was our big FA swing and was a bust - he will be replaced with hopefully someone more reliable. Gage will maybe be there in a rythm day one with both Evans and Godwin along with Otton.
Reason #3 - Jensen will be back as the starting center, that moves Hainsey to solid depth, probably premium draft pick at OT for depth. Possibly we could see even some creativity on the line if they swap Smith and Wirfs next year.. either way 2022 season was a a tragedy losing Jensen and then Stinnie followed by a coaching blunder allowing Goedeke to start 100% of the snaps in 6 games.. that directly led to Brady being raddled for nearly the entire season. Thats not the case in 2023 unless it rains down piss on us again.
Reason #4 - The run game... theyre last in the league in 2022. theres no where to go but up.. it should be improved through reasons # 1 and #3, and should be improved by the emergence of Rachaad White as the primary back.. hopefully we even cut loose Lenny too and just eat the dead cap.
There's some reason for you.
Brady is "washed" in the Brady world where he's the GOAT. He's not the GOAT anymore.
Either you don’t know what GOAT means or you’re completely clueless.
Sweet Geebus, dude.
Sweet Geebus Instead of saying "Brady is no longer the GOAT", I'll say "Brady is not the same player which earned him the monicker of GOAT." Happy now? Sweet Geebus, you know what I'm saying.
He's average. He didn't elevate the team.

By all means, Mr. “VH3 was worthy of a Round 1 pick because he made a tackle”…tell us more about Brady being “average”.
If you need to borrow clown makeup and a big red nose, I’m sure @pennywise has plenty to spare.
I never said VH3 was worthy of a 1st round pick of course, but you know that. So whatever, have your fun.

15) Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Since Week 6, Tom Brady has been one of the least efficient quarterbacks in the NFL. Despite some fourth-quarter comebacks, it’s tough to rely on him throughout the course of a full game. It’s difficult to take a legend and rank him below some players with less stellar careers, but in 2022 Brady has a lot less to show.

This is a message board. You post what you’re saying. We aren’t mind-readers. If you don’t mean to say"Brady is no longer the GOAT", then don’t say"Brady is no longer the GOAT."

There were five games played after that article was written. A few of those were the games where the OC pulled his head out if his ass for a half or two and played to his team’s strengths. Try finding something a little more recent to back up your inferior opinions.

You did, kiddo. Changing screen names won’t hide it.
And, post any opinion article you want.
I posted actual metrics and stats.
Did not. I made some comment about him not being labeled a bust yet because he made the game winning stop. Never said he was worth the pick. Then about two weeks later it was obvious to everyone and his grandmother he was a bust. But it's not unusual for memories to get a little fuzzy in old age. Don't sweat it.

So, essentially, you’re admitting you thought he was worthy of his draft status due to a game winning stop…despite the fact he was absolute dog shit since the first day he stepped on the field.
Then about two weeks later it was obvious to everyone and his grandmother he was a bust.
While it took you 2 weeks…EVERYONE knew he was bust 2 years prior.
Donkey, You're entitled to think I'm wrong, but don't act like my opinion is coming out of left field. There are plenty of people who think that Brady isn't what he used to be. So you can have your opinion, but you might want to get that stick out of your ass. I get my opinion because I do watch all the games and I'm not particularly impressed with how Brady's offense has performed this year. He was 8-8 in games that matter (I won't count Week 18), that was with Brady basically being healthy all year and backed up by a good defense. I'm not particularly impressed with that.
IMO Brady will retire within four days after the end of the Bucs season, whether its losing against Dallas or winning the Superbowl, it doesn't matter in regards to his retirement plans. He knows he's on the decline better than any of us.

Cool man you got me.
