The Philadelphia Inquirer reports Eagles OLB Trent Cole is "destined to be jettisoned" this offseason.In other words, Cole is expected to be released. The 31-year-old is due a $5 million salary, and all of his guaranteed money is off the books. We wouldn't be so quick to write Cole off. He started all 16 games, recorded eight sacks, and was nails as a run defender -- grading out as Pro Football Focus' No. 2 3-4 run-stopping outside linebacker. He's played in the 4-3 most of his career and has had pretty solid production throughout his career. You guys think Cole could be a solid FA addition for us?
Could be, I've really like the guy during his run with the eagles. Dominant DE play. About the same age as Allen
Depends on the price tag, but yea add him to the list of potentials.
