And, while you're feverishly searching away on the interwebs, please remember that I want YOUR meaning.
Not some random coach quote that you googled.
easy Buggsy . ..
Posting other people's point of view . . particularly in the profession . . after my own comment and backing up the point I am making is not substituting for my meaning lol.
This is why you guys get so angry. You hold yourselves out as some sort of football experts so when your'e stuff doesn't hold up . . you just go to the name calling or you imply that people posting other opinions are "football acumen" inferior . . like this "please remember that I want YOUR meaning .. Not some random coach quote that you googled."
DH . . . all these posts . . they are all coming AFTER I dragged out of you that Evans "a #1 receiver in every way" according to our brother WAS NOT in the top 10 against zone, right?
come on
Buggsy could NEVER admit that but you can, right?
(nope)
But, out of curiosity. What exactly does this mean...
Godwins ROLE in the offense (especially in Arians offense before) was that of the ZONE BEATER
Again...what EXACTLY does that mean?
Let's see if you can go a few posts without mentioning politics or your weird sexual infatuation with Buggsy.
Predictably, you couldn’t provide an answer.
Multiple posts (with multiple references to Buggsy…your infatuation with him is borderline psychotic), yet, you can’t answer a simple question.
Guess you couldn’t find someone on the internet to answer it for you.

DH, you can have the last word all you want but my references to Buggsy are how you are Buggsy . . and you keep proving me right BECAUSE YOU CANT DO ANYTHING BUT
Guess you couldn’t find someone on the internet to answer it for you.
My answer on Godwin is already above. The reason I say especially in Arians was he played in the slot more where they have him outside now.
Btw as for "borderline pyschotic" consider that even Fire called you out for you inability to criticize Buggsy.
You cant do it . . because you are him
DH . .
the Godwin v Evans comparison if very difficult because they are so physically different and their roles are so different . It would make sense that Godwin had more fumbles as an example, because he plays over the middle. More targets under Arians same thing. And with Brady.
Godwin is sit down in zones, Evans is run by the CB. In the current trend of defenses, Evans feels the crunch (thats why he's expanded his route tree) and Godwin's role is needed, which makes the outside shift odd.
Godwin under Arians was the Hines Ward, Larry Fitz role. The current Bucs are reversing this by taking Godwin outside but as the SLOT RECEIVER he is/was the PRIMARY target in the middle.
This is an article talking about Hines Ward talkignto Fitz about making th same move Godwin made:
"The receiver who plays this position in a Bruce Arians offense is both an important playmaker in the middle of the field, and a crucial contributor to the success of the running game. This player must be physical, strong, and sure-handed. In other words, a player like Larry Fitzgerald.
Fitzgerald was originally apprehensive about the move to slot receiver. But in true Fitzgerald style, he placed the success of the team first, and trusted Coach Arians. Though it took time for Fitzgerald to acclimate to the move, he has thrived in the role and has been lauded for his superb blocking.
The move has also been a windfall to Fitzgerald’s production. In a sense, Coach Arians has designed his offense to reward the slot receiver for blocking, by making them the primary playmaker in the middle of the field. As a result, Fitzgerald’s receiving numbers have increased significantly in this role."
That is what I mean by ZONE BEATER . . if you play a shell to take away Evans the offense counters with running and . . . GODWIN as the "primary playmaker in the middle of the field."
Not that he cant beat guys outside and beat guys in man (obviously he can and does) but his best ROLE has been that of a quasi TE because, as compared to Evans, his attributes are quickness (as opposed to speed), great hands even when covered and in tight spaces and -- just ilke the Bucs coach said about him. -- a KNACK for finding opening in the middle of the field, using his body to wall of defenders etc.
oh wait . . thats just coach speak. . none of us see it with are own eyes
Godwin is sit down in zones, Evans is run by the CB.
This is the premise of your argument.
I'll ignore the rest of your typical lonely drunken rambling.
The problem with your premise, is that it isn't true.
Film shows it. Routes per game show it. The actual route trees being ran show it. Stats show it.
Godwin is sit down in zones, Evans is run by the CB.
This is the premise of your argument.
"I dont think that word means what you think it means"
They are very different receivers because of their physical differences
argument > premise
the Godwin v Evans comparison if very difficult because they are so physically different and their roles are so different.
I later responded to a DIFFERENT point. . . that YOU HELPED ME PROVE TRUE
theres a pretty easy argument that he's not really a true #1 if by that its meant that he is the CONDUIT for the offense.
Sorry, I'm simply not as fast as your drunken string posting rate you're known for.

These are the times of the four posts prior to yours. You are dealing with one sad, lonely pathetic lunatic. A lunatic that has no idea what he's talking about. Which is why the dingleberry is running from yet another direct question:
But, out of curiosity. What exactly does this mean...
Godwins ROLE in the offense (especially in Arians offense before) was that of the ZONE BEATER
Again...what EXACTLY does that mean?
Crickets. Even after you answered his direct question, unsurprisingly proving his dumbass wrong. You got crickets....
The lunatic doesn't have the football acumen to answer. But that doesn't stop the shameless sack of shit from going on and on and on and on.
DH, you can have the last word all you want
Bwhahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Don't let an actual debate get in the way of some good semantic!
Lmfao
Never change
Did Buggsy call me a pussy and a coward again?
lol

Buggsy is off his game. No “ pussy” or “coward”
Usual nothingness otherwise
@biggs3535 he had his first drop this past week. They even brought it up in the game when it happened.

OK, well he must have had two drops in the game because he's got two on the season. And again, that doesn't count the drop in the EZ that I have no doubt Godwin would tell you was a drop.
And FTR, I wouldn't take to much of what announcers say seriously. One of them was calling Devin White "Devin Smith" multiple times in one game.
Man this thread went from actual discussion to a dumpster fire....why?
OK, well he must have had two drops in the game because he's got two on the season.
What’s weird is that there are a few sites with conflicting data.
Some are showing one and some are showing two.

That was the SF game... Moose I believe
