1 - LA Rams - Jared Goff QB CAL *as reported in my top ten last week, it would be a major shock if the Rams don't draft Goff. He has Drew Brees caliber talent and will be a pretty good QB in the NFC.2 - Philly Eagles - QB Carson Wentz North Dakota State * Philadelphia sells the farm to get Wentz. Their fans are having a meltdown for the most part. Really makes you think about how awesome it is to finally have our franchise QB. Will Wentz develop into a top 10 guy? I'm not so sure. Goff is the better prospect. Wentz reminds me of Andy Dalton. I think that's what Philly is getting. Is that worth all that they gave up? No way!3 - San Diego Chargers - T Laremy Tunsil Ole Miss * BPA meets need for the west coast bolts. Tunsil is arguably the best player in the draft. Maybe the best OT prospect coming out since Joe Thomas. Rivers will sleep like a baby next Thursday night.4 - Dallas Cowboys - RB Ezekiel Elliott Ohio State * If you're Dallas the question is just how much do you love Ramsey? It would seem to make sense for them to go in a different direction if they play to the strength of the draft. At the top of round two, they're at a prime spot to get Karl Joseph, Von Bell, or Keanu Neal. They might even have their pick of the litter. That said, after Elliott and Henry, there is a major dropoff at RB. In round 2 they may be out of luck. I'm not buying Alfred Morris as a legit bellcow back. Bosa or Elliott will be the pick here unless they are head over heels for Ramsey. Elliott could make them the #1 offense in football. 5 - Jville Jags - DE Joey Bosa Ohio State * Jacksonville passes on Ramsey as they snag current free agent CB Josh Norman. While they could still go Ramsey, they did just sign Tashaun Gipson and Casey Hayward. Bosa makes more sense to round out their DL. With Mariota, Osweiler, and Luck in their division they need to attack the QB. You don't know what you will get out of Dante Fowler. Even if he starts that Jags defense operates best with three DEs who can rotate and get after the QB.6 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Baltimore) - S Jalen Ramsey Florida State * The Bucs number one ranked player falls to pick six and the Bucs make a move. To go from 9 to 6 the Bucs give up a 4th and 6th round pick. They make up for it later in a Glennon trade for multiple picks in rounds 4-7. Ramsey plays safety in Mike Smith's defense but also will line up as a corner in sub packages. The talent is too good to pass up and luckily we let things play out and get him at number six for minimal loss.7 - San Fran Kellyniners - T Ronnie Stanley Notre Dame * Chip could easily draft Corey Coleman or even Paxton Lynch but I think he's under more pressure to take a safer pick here. Besides Kelly has his eye on Vernon Adams from Oregon later in the mid rounds. Stanley is a plug in and play tackle. In a division with the Rams, Cardinals, and Seahawks, OL can not be over valued.8 - Cleveland Browns - LB Myles Jack UCLA * Browns trade back for a boatload of picks and still get the guy they were heavily considering at #2 overall. The Browns have to get this pick right and with this LB I think they do that.9 - Baltimore Ravens - DE Deforest Buckner Oregon * Ravens would have gone Ramsey. However they are perfectly fine with Buckner as well. They add a couple picks from Tampa and still get one one of the top 5 players in the draft who happens to fill a position of need. 10 - New York Giants - CB Vernon Hargreaves III Florida * The Giants plug Hargreaves in across from Jenkins. Perfect fit in their man defense. Giants follow up with a safety in round two, and could make some noise in 2016.
