Just watched the game for a second time...and here is what I came away with:1) Glennon looks very good and hopefully will just get better. Easily passes for 330+ if it was not for the insane number of penalties. Just the passes to Murphy alone that were called back would have put him over 300 yards. He is stepping up in the pocket nicely and hopefully will just get better.2) I like our receivers and their future. Jackson, Evans, Murphy and maybe Herron are a nice group. I know ASJ had a big drop early but the other misses were very tough to catch (excellent coverage). Give him time. Keep this group together with Glennon. By the way, the return of Sims will make a big difference I think.3) Pass protection was very good...(except on safety). That is a huge improvement. 4) Offensive Coordinator is our biggest problem. Illegal shifts, illegal formations and lack of imagination in our run calls is an issue (it was so obvious when we were going to run it last night). Losing Tedford was huge...5)David, McCoy, Verner and Barron played very well. Lansanah as well. Verner looked like a whole new player. Banks and Gholston looked good. Where our defense got whipped was on the perimeter runs and screens and on penalties. You can't keep giving Brees more yards and opportunities with penalties and expect to win. Oh, and Bowers sucks.6) Other than Murray, our special teams are not very impressive...I like the future of this offense but we desperately need an legit OC. I also hope we go defense in this next draft and in FA add some more experience on the o-line.I think we beat Baltimore next week...
