Hawaii may have some heat and humidity, but it's nothing compared to Florida in August, September, and even into October. I firmly believe that one of the reasons Donald Penn had so much trouble with his weight here was the heat and humidity, and just how his body would react when it finally made it through the strain of training camp and September. It's good we have at least 1 indoor field to practice on now. If we want guys, especially Vea, to still be fresh enough into December and hopefully January, we really need to pay attention to their exposure to the heat and humidity. If we want to help Vea control his weight, he needs to have a clear plan to make sure he isn't yo-yoing too much water weight in the summer.
