Saw a Vikings fan post this on another board

Vikings fan here, make no mistake about it, your defensive problems have the stench of Frazier failure written all over it. I recognize his sieve of a defense scheme when I see it. This is just Lovie being a stand up guy and taking one for his buddy. Lovies defense in Chicago was an aggressive ball hawking style. Fraziers is about as passive as it gets. Your defense resembles the latter. And let me tell you, it's probably not going to get better. The bend and break defense is going to get tore up in this now pass happy league. Get used to your defense making even 3rd string scrubs look like Joe Montana. In 2011 Tebow went 10/15 for 202 yards and 2 TD's (140.0 rating) and beat us 35-32 at the dome. Yeah, we were in a friggin shootout with Tim Tebow for crying out loud. He averaged 20 yards per completion. I remember watching your Falcons game Thursday night and it gave me flashbacks of nightmares past. When Frazier was with our team, I called it the "let em catch it and try to tackle" scheme. Because that's exactly how it looks. And forget about turnovers. His defense never attacks the ball. They don't go for picks, knockdowns, or strips. We were always in the bottom half of the league in takeaways. In 2011 the Vikings defense went a league record 9 consecutive games without an interception. QB's were a combined 196/267 (73.4%), 2409 yards (9.02 avg), 25 TD's, and 0 INT's during that stretch for a QB rating of 132.0. Even with Jared Allen applying all that pressure and our line leading the league in sacks, we still got tore up. Even more depressing statistics. Here's our combined pass defense ranks during the 3 years Frazier was our head coach. Pretty much dead last during that 3 year period from 2011 to 2013. Our defense is what put that permanent smirk on Aaron Rodgers' face.completions:  32nd  1177attempts:    31st  1798percent:      31st  65.5yards:        31st  13422avg/att:      22nd  7.46TD's:        32nd    99TD%:          32nd  5.51INT's:        32nd    30INT%:        32nd  1.67sacks:        3rd    135rating:      32nd  99.1Sorry for all the depressing numbers. I know you guys are bummed out enough as it is, but this is just some ammo in case any Frazier apologists crop up and try to convince you he just needs more time. And I don't know if he does any pressers down there as DC, but if he does, watch out for his "we're going to look at the tape, see what went wrong, and get it fixed". He spouted that nonsense after every game.

This sounds exactly like the defense we've been seeing this year. I know Lovie and Frazier are buddies, but Lovie needs to open his eyes and realize Frazier is a huge liability. I don't think we're gonna see the secondary get much better, or the entire defense as a result, if Frazier remains. Let's hope Frazier is gone after the season, but if not, I think we're gonna be in big trouble and both him and Lovie may be gone after 2015. Lovie's stubbornness could cost him big time once again if he doesn't make the right moves.
