I'm definitely interested in seeing how he does. From an outsider fan's perspective he seems like he should have become a head coach a while ago.
That's the most curious thing about him IMO. Guy has been one of the best DC's in the NFL for years, and just now got a HC gig? There's gotta be a reason for that. That said, I think it was a good hire on paper.
I think it's because they said he doesn't interview well. Possibly meaning he doesn't have the "salesman" schtick to "wow" the "owner/gm/whoever else" interviewing group.

from my experience in life the "salesman type" are usually pretty useless and lazy if they are required to do anymore than talk.
