Age is catching up to the 33-year old WR as Vincent Jackson is the Bucs' 5th leading receiver after four games with just 12 catches for 137 yards. He's behind Mike Evans (26 catches for 360 yards and 3 TDs), Adam Humphries (19 catches for 205 yards), Cameron Brate (16 catches for 159 yards and 2 TDs) and Charles Sims (14 catches for 112 yards and a TD) in terms of receptions and he's been targeted only 26 times. That's 24 less targets than Evans, five less than Humphries and one more than Brate.
Don't be surprised if Louis Murphy or Jeremy Butler emerge for more playing time in the second quarter of the season. Murphy could return after the bye week and Butler just got promoted from the practice squad. Donteea Dye could also be an option to be re-signed in Week 6.
