Vita Vea Effect

Just watching his snaps and the big boy is doing a helluva job "pushing the pocket".

It's no wonder we got 5 team sacks in only his 2nd start. He helped out on a few of those by causing disruption to the QB. He is a bull rushing machine.

Once he starts to get more reps, we will really see the sacks start to pile up. Once teams realize they need to double him its going to free up blitz lanes for the LB's and stunting linemen big time.

With JPP and Nassib coming off the edge and Vea collapsing the pocket QB's are going to start making bad decisions and our secondary is going to suddenly become much better.

I love this pick. I was also a big Derwin Kames fan but in the long run I think Vea will better serve our defense.
