To the people who think Ward got beat out on the Broncos by mediocre players:
Look at the Justin Simmons and Will Parks youtube highlights. They are no slouches, seem like impact players, and hard hitters. Both were drafted by Denver in 2016 and are young and affordable at this time. As unproven as Simmons and Parks are, the Broncos and John Elway are taking a big risk by letting Ward walk. I can almost guarantee that it came down to money. When the young Broncos safeties are putting an impact such as Ward has in the NFL on tape (as Monte Kiffin used to say) then I can say that Denver made the right decision by letting Ward go. So the bottom line is they let Ward go (or as many here want to put it, he got beat out by a 3rd round pick) because they wanted to get younger while still having great players who don't cost a lot. They are just picking their poison.
The Broncos loss is our gain!
Hey...Why can't we draft this type of talent! Is it scouting or what?
Edit: T.J. Ward reminds me of a smaller Landon Collins!
