I'm hoping they saw the color scheme for the pro bowl jerseys and decided that a true pewter color scheme was fashionable.

The helmet color might be an effect of the lighting, but the logo definitely looks bigger.

The general idea earlier today was that the helmet would be white so it can be worn with the throwbacks. I bought in. But the more I think about it, the dumber that sounds. Why change your look just for one game a year because of some stupid NFL rule that might not even be around this year. Maybe it's just wishful thinking because I really want a pewter helmet....but I'm not so sure it will be something that goes with the throwbacks. I'm thinking a matte grey pewter helmet with a chrome face mask, updated skull flag logo, and more matte grey pewter worked into the uni. Possibly some chrome highlights on the jersey as well.
It occurs to me that "new: could mean "alternate" as opposed to "replacement." Although I doubt they'd be making this much of a fuss over an alternate logo and helmet.

Seeing how the actual nfl higher ups are working along side nike, in an effort to being in some "new," I believe we're all going to have our jaws drop.Sounds like sapp's did, so I really doubt it's just a larger logo with a worse paint job. It's most likely going to be something truly unique.

Uniform changes will be next to nothing IMO.Helmet will be drastic. Excited to see it
