Yeah it's really a tossup I could be too.It's just we didn't start wearing the throwbacks until a few years ago, I could easily see us doing away with them. Then again they have been enjoyable to see. I really don't think pure white helmets with a chrome facemask goes with the "modern" Nike theme going around. Personally I'm expecting to see some grey/pewter/red on the thing. Guess we will find out in a few hours eh? ;DFun time to be a fan.

White helmets = being able to peel off enhanced current logo sticker and slapping on Bucco Bruce for throw back games. Don't know where that logic is flawed. Seems pretty simple. I really didnt want the white helmet to be a possibility, but it seems like the strongest of all potential helmet concepts.

Someone posted an article about how the process of making minor adjustments takes about twelve months, while major changes takes double that. So this had to have been in the works before that helmet rule went into effect. Doesn't mean the helmet won't be white, but that won't be the reason for it.
I don't think two toned is necessarily bad. I think two tones of the same color, like light grey and dark grey.....or even similar colors like red and orange, could be done well and look very cool. Shiny gold and matte black? Not so much.

They wanted to make this logo happen last year, from what I'm seeing on uniform sites. I think they put it on hold when the helmet rule was making it's way through it's approval process at the same time...

He also debunked the white helmet floating around. Didn't say it wasn't white, but he said it doesn't look anything like that.

The base will be white, yes. I doubt there will be much white shown. You can wrap the helmet in anything you want and peel off to replace with bucco bruce. They make wraps for cars/bikes/etc...

Orange is one of my least favorite colors, but I would like this look. I just don't think they'll make a huge change like that.

The Bigger is better tweet has me convinced that the new flag logo will be huge and wrapping around the helmet....if that doesn't turn out to be true I'm shitting on Sapps car.
I kind of dig this and it would fit the fire comment by Sapp. With that said...I don't know that I like it better than the current logo. This also looks a little rough and not like a finished image so I don't think this is it.
