That's a good point. The red may be de-emphasized or gone completely.
If they go Pewter Jerseys, It's going to need a bunch of red. With The Pewter Helmet and Chrome mask, No Color really..
I love the new logo and helmet, but I'm not a fan of the size of the logo on the helmet. Looks dumb.
I love the idea, but I don't think it was done very well. They kinda went half way but were too afraid to be really bold. They made it just big enough to still fit perfectly and still put one on each side. If they'd made it a lot bigger and just been on one side, it could have been pretty sweet. In the end it isn't that bad. It's just a let down after all the hype for three days cause it really doesn't look like a new age 2014 helmet. It looks like it could be the helmet that replaced the creamsicle back in 1996.
I agree man. They had the ingredients to make this thing really awesome, just needed to be more creative with the scheme and how it was put together. I really like it though..
In the NFL N lighting, I like the new more than the old....Honestly, I have a harder time seeing the features of the old more than the new "from a distance"

I'm not sure the pewter color even changed. Hard to say what is lighting and what is actual color.

Yeah , the new ship logo is straight bad ass . Wouldn't mind that on an alternate helmet.

In all seriousness, I hated the logo on first glance, left, came back and now I think it's at the least a definite improvement over the old one. It was probably just the shock of seeing something different after all these years.The wife likes them too. I think the uniforms have to change now.
Yeah....I think the pewter is still the same exact color. Lighting just made it appear different.....which means same ol sweat stained brown pants.
