Last week the Giants' first three passes told anybody who was paying attention what their gameplan was. All three of them were slant/seam/dart. One thing I am checking for today is if Cassell and the Cowboys do the same thing. In addition to watching the Cowboys, I will also be checking to see what we are doing to stop it. Are we giving their receivers a free run on their route? Are our defensive linemen getting their hands up to try and stop the throw? Can our linebackers or corners anticipate and get an pick. If we can stop them, I think we throw a major monkey wrench into their plans. The Giants only tried it a couple of times and though we weren't perfect, we played it better. I'm also watching the fake hand-off and qb rollout to tight end.
