He’s crazy fas, for sure.

on his TD, is it a jump ball situation because the pass is late? It looks lik me he separates on the break but the pass isn’t there and then comes late and behind?

maybe not. Only saw briefly.

in last years offense you could share the safety to Evans because there was no one to punish you underneath (Godwin mostly injured) and no alternative deep threat. Evans and Godwin and Palmer would create a real match up challenge defenses if Palmer converts on his early chances

Chris Godwin had over 100 receptions (8th in the NFL) and over 1,000 yards receiving last season. I'm pretty sure you could scour the internet and find this information somewhere, because you clearly don't have any idea as to what you are talking about.

Fuggin' clueless.

Buggsy, I wouldn’t have to “scour the internet” to find you under the heading of dishonest or TPS. Anyway, this one is transparently dishonest because it’s what you are, particularly when it comes to stats lol

the point above - OBVIOUS to any non-clown - was not Godwin it was Evans and the impact of not having a true underneath game (Gronk, Godwin, run game etc). But, just to stay with your straw man about Godwin…

Right before Godwin is injured he’s got a couple hundred yard receiving games at probably 10-15 receptions. He also probably has  8-9 tds and not sure but probably averaging 15ish a reception. Part of that production is that he is underneath and getting plenty of separation, especially because the defense has to account for other weapons

after his injury - AS ANY NON-CLOWN can see - he is a shell of himself early and no Gronk so Godwins receptions and average likely go down AS DO EVANS TDs ….

because … Mr “football acumen” less OTHER weapons, especially as the run game goes in the tank

in 2022 Evans TDs go down because defenses don’t have to worry about all the other threats so they played deep zone rolled to him.

now, don’t kill the McDonalds manager when he leaves out your second Big Mac

and tell us all again how you feel about PPP loans

Yeah this kid is a gamer. Talented enough to get offered a "WRU" LSU but couldn't see the field for aforementioned reasons. Our biggest issue in the passing game though will be deep ball inaccuracy. He's a true burner threat and strong enough to play through contact unlike Scotty Miller. Once we get a real QB in here, this offense has potential to be dangerous.

lolz

You would actually look much better if you simply admit you don't know what the hell the you're talking about.  Saying dumbass things, getting called out on those dumbass things, and then unleashing an embarrassing (this would only qualify for someone with a modicum of shame) wall-o-text spin-job isn't and never has been a good look. But it's your favorite outfit.

Just to reiterate how we got here:

Just imagine what Godwin could have done he wasn't "mostly injured" during the 2022 season. Dude would have blasted all of the single-season receiving records.

Fuggin' clueless.

As he showed on Trask's slightly underthrown ball, he has pretty good ball skills too. He's a really talented dude.

maybe you can’t read?

Buggsy, proof that statistics are often A LIAR’s TOOL:

Godwin himself acknowledges the difference you INTENTIONALLY left out by quoting selective season stats

From NFL.com

Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin feels his explosiveness is coming back in second offseason post-ACL injury

“The 27-year-old received a three-year deal worth $60 million from the Bucs heading into the 2022 season, even despite being in the midst of his ACL recovery at the time. And once he returned to the field, Godwin proved to still be a formidable pass-catcher, recording 1,023 receiving yards and 104 catches, ranked 21st and eighth in the league, respectively.

But while in some ways Godwin looked the same, he only averaged 9.8 yards a reception, a career-low, and hauled in just three touchdowns, the worst since his rookie year.

Now with a little more time to recover since the season's end, Godwin said he's started to fully feel like his pre-injury self again in recent weeks.”

AND FROM GODWIN HIMSELF:

But while his numbers continued to be in line with the output of other top receivers in the league, Godwin said this week that, as is the case for many players returning from ACL tears, he still didn't feel 100 percent in his first year back.

"It was a night and day difference between last year and this year," Godwin said.”

Ironically, to wrestle the thread back from the ever-derailing Buggsy, I give you Chris Godwin on Palmer:

It was a really big play for us…on one of the better corners in the league,” Godwin said of the play. “Trey, he’s a fast guy, and I don’t know if people notice it or not but he’s flying out there and Kyle [Trask] gave him a great ball. I feel like it was kind of tough on Sauce because they went Cover 0 so it’s one-on-one and Trey, like I said, he’s a blazer…that’s the kind of plays we’re going to need from him.”

(hidden in that quote is something about Evans 2022 lol but let our HC explain: ““They’ve been having a safety over the top and he’s been doubled most of the year, so (the deep ball) really hasn’t been there,” coach Todd Bowles said Monday. “We caught (the Panthers) in some single coverage and we made them pay.””

That was because of the scheme, not an individual player.

We’ve already seen this in 2 preseason games with the noticeably different route combos and their levels of depth.

because a Gronk is no different than a Brate!

scheme sucked but obviously the talent on the field also plays a part

To the overall point though, certainly you must agree that Evans likely sees less safety help and doubles in 2022 if we have an actual running game and Gronk and Godwin fully healthy and a half-sane AB? The hallmark of the great Buc offense was GOAT QB with so many weapons

if Palmer is the 3rd he’s going to see a lot of opportunities because of Evans and Godwin

Mike Evans has been seeing double teams since he entered the league. The didn't just start happening in 2022 with a "mostly injured" Chris Godwin racking up 100+ receptions & 1,000+ yards.

The mental gymnastics this dumb bastard attempts to execute is hilarious. Keep scouring, fucknuts.

I doubt you expect Otton to have 800 yds, 8tds etc (ie Gronk like numbers) but that is the logical result if it was just the system

it’s both. Leftwich sucked. He couldn’t do anything other than call plays off a sheet but obviously the talents is/was down, for a number of reasons.  No one should expect Mayfield to be Brady because the offense is better. He should do better than he would with Leftwich, for sure.
