@bchaves8 - this was also a questionable personnel decision, as Hall had barely played over the previous two seasons due to injuries.
I feel like Dean has a tendency over the years (or at least it seems that way) where when he gets torched badly he feigns and injury because his ego is bruised.
It does seem that way, but whatever it is he is NOT worth it because he is always injured.
Earlier, he made a great break up of a TD pass, but then he gets injured and Hayes comes in and theres the TD
@ehinote True, but being up against the cap, it was worth taking a flyer.
I think White Tiger is actually Licht
"“It’s a good time to be a Buc,” Licht said. “We’re doing a lot of great things, the entire organization. A lot of stability has helped. Obviously, great players, great coaching. So it’s an exciting time.”
lol
FWIW, I dont have any allegiance to Bowles but I definitely agree with Licht's quote in bold x
Right. But to be honest, zone wasn't working either. So it doesn't matter who the hell was playing CB, we were toast.Thats true. Davis was excellent too here when asked to play to his strengths, but Bowles loves his soft zone. SighsAgreed. Not sure if it was possible last year but if I have to choose between Dean or Davis, I'm picking Carlton 9/10 times. I understood why they did it, just thought it was the wrong CB to cut ties with.OR REPLACE [Davis] WITH A COMPARABLE FA
can everyone at least agree that the Bucs did NOT do this on defense and it was BECAUSE of $$$?
Bowles playing a shit load of zone is one of the biggest reasons they traded the m2m CB they drafted and paid big money to. His decisions made it foolish to have two m2m corners making that much money.
If they played more man and they still traded Davis, it would be a money-only decision. But it wasn't that simple.
McLaurin is their big receiving threat
we defend his M2m over and over and over.
First quarter - -we blitz and they throw up a 30 plus yard completion to McLaurin. Dean covering M2M
Second quarter -- 3 and 6, They go deep to McLaurin. McCollum covering M2m. Incomplete
Third quarter - GOAL LINE Dean in M2M - knock down McLaurin pass in
THAT IS THE POINT : Dean goes down and Hayes comes in and he cant do the same thing. McLaurin roasts him for a 4th down TD, right?s?
Retarded fan base
Bakers fumble didn’t help matters at all…but Bowles wet napkin defense couldn’t get off the field or create a single turnover..or punt for that matter. Let the commanders bleed the last 4+ mins off the clock and failed to properly utilize timeouts at the end(his M.O.). Washington ran 25 more plays and held the ball 11:00 more mins…but I guess that doesn’t fall on Bowles that literally calls every aspect of that side of the ball.
Defense played better than we all anticipated. Offense underperformed with a crucial turnover because of a STUPID Coen call and the reaction is to fire Bowles. You all are fucking clueless. Coen and his bullshit can get the fuck out of here and let someone else really run behind this OL with Bucky and Tucker
Coen will be hosting the Lombardi trophy as head coach and your dumbass will still be saying he's shit.
The Defense allowed long sustained drives and struggled mightily to get stops on third and fourth down.
Why is that? Because his defensive scheme is predictable.
Offense can't score points in the first half when the defense allows their offense to go 97 yards over 9 minutes for a TD.
Even when the defense made big plays the drive had already given up multiple conversions and eventual scores.
Bowles went slow death on defense and went hyper conservative on offense.
Modern NFL, you go for those 4th downs.
You typed all that bullshit instead of just admitting he should have run power, duo or tag with Tucker instead of a stupid jet sweep. I told you his dumbass was going to blow the season.
The bullshit that the offense can't score when the defense can't get off the field?
Yeah it was Tucker that would have won this game. Brilliant stuff
Yea we win this game is Tucker even gets 5 carries. Instead he's dicking around with jet sweeps and designed Baker runs.

Tress Way thought this was hilarious.
After the amazing goal line stand Washington had 13 points. Coen couldn't bring it home. He choked. Not a surpise though based on the Carolina, Raiders, Dallas and Saints games

This reads like satire but tastes like paint chips

6.2 ypc back is on the bench while we're fumbling a jet sweep up 4 in the 4th qtr. Get your heads out of your asses. Coen blew it.
Your hard on for Sean Tucker is one of the weirdest things i've read on this board. I cant tell if your that insane or your trolling everyone. One game versus a saints defense who quit and he's the next Ladainian Tomlinson.Yea we win this game is Tucker even gets 5 carries. Bowles can only work with the talent he has, and besides Vea, AWJ, and an aging LVD, what talent does he have to work with? He has issues with clock management and he's loyal to a fault with players/coaches, but to blame the poor performance of the Bucs D on Bowles' coaching/scheme entirely is not taking into account the lack of talent on the D.

Overrating and overhyping moderately talented Buccaneer players is kinda his thing. He’s got a pretty long list of overrating the Sean Tuckers of the world.
@kermit56 - the problem is Bowles truly believes he can make a defense work with lesser talent at edge and corner. It’s the basis of his scheme and why it has its weaknesses. His comfort has and always will be blitzing and playing soft zone. But teams have figured it out and are patient, knowing that they normally can’t beat our defense with one long play. Take what this defense gives you and you’ll win time of possession and most of the time points.
I feel it's time for the Bucs to move on from Bowles.
