Feels good but can't rest on your laurels need to keep the same intensity, that'll be up to coaching. It's easy to come out flat after a strong win against an opponent you think is weaker, preparation gets sloppier, not as locked in
Agreed. Easy game to have a let down.
Wonder who we get back on the field, if anyone.
The Broncos are not going to be easy but they seem to be in a slump. It is possible that the Bucs have to really gear up for this game as it can be a trap game for them.
Bowles has to remind the team this is a game the Bucs should win. They absolutely need to win the games they are expected to win. Don't look past this game, focus on winning this game before you start thinking about ATL and NO road games.
IF TB were healthier, I doubt this would be much of a contest, and it may not be one anyway. Nix is looking like a bust at this point, though the data sample is small. But his ADOT is not good at all, but his misses the ball placement in particular) are really concerning. He's too conservative for his own good at this point.
TB should win this one pretty convincingly by at least two scores in what will probably be a bit of a snoozefest in the 2nd half.
I mean I’ll take a win with no injuries at this point lol

im hoping both kancey & goedeke.
awj & vea longshots.
Bo Nix has been downright awful, to no one's surprise other than the Oregon homer who I debated with this summer.
Should be an ass whipping on Sunday if we execute like we did yesterday.
I would love a blow out. Who wouldn’t?
give the starters a chance to rest.
get(hopefully) healthy.
at the end of the day teams are judged by wins and losses. Not style points.
just don’t lose this game & no major injuries please!
First of all the Broncos defense isn't playing bad.
Second, the Broncos offense looked competent moving the football but they crumbled in the red zone because Nix is a rookie. Plus, they were playing against the Steelers defense. The Broncos offense is going to play better against the Bucs. What the Bucs defense has to do is limit their ability to build drives.
So, if the Bucs offense scores early TDs early then it will take away Broncos desire to run the football on offense and work in play action.
Yeah, the fact that Vita will be out will change the dynamic a lot…and we’re not sure who we get back in the secondary, means I’m not looking for a blowout…just a win…but I sure HOPE for a blowout!
If we can get Goedeke back, that would be a game-changer for the offense.
The reason I say we need to crush the broncos is because we know we can crush the broncos, and we probably have some bad blood over there with sean payton. This is a typical bucs trap game, hell this is a typical tampa game get in love with the hype and then shit the bed, must be something in the weather with us, its nice, warm easy to relax, cause being up north made me a lot more grumpier waking up in the mornings lol.
So far I like Bowles mindset, "its one win" "its week 2" "weve been here before", thatll keep us grinding for the long season. The moment we relax and don't prepare to the usual standard is when we let one get away from us.
I'm a little concerned we had some coaches and staff shed some tears after our win, i get it emotional win, great underdog win, but can't lose sight of the longterm goal being happy with our short term goal. Long term goal - Superbowl
Lets not get too caught up in our own hype, no win is a given and I fully expect teams to want to derail our hype train. Baker even said there was a midseason lull which had us slumping.
Some of memorable seasons of Tampa hype derailment was week 1 after we beat atl with koetter, 9-3 to 9-7 lsoing to a 4-12 oakland team missing the playoffs, #2 USF losing to unranked rutgers when all we had to was win out the bigeast to make the BCS. I think its the mindset that you can just stroll in and win when the other team is staying up day and night to take you down. We need to avoid that and stay focused
The Super Bowl will take care of itself.
on to Denver.
We don't need a blowout.
We simply need to take care of business, win the game, and try to get out of there without any more key injuries.
If Vea and Goedeke need another week to recover, then give it to them.
