Yo, it look like it gonna happen again man. In previous bad seasons we were one pick away from getting Calvin Johnson and suh. Now, cuz we won a meaningless game, we are going to not be able to draft Manziel cuz Cleveland going to take him. Dammit man. Why do I got a feeling we are going to be stuck with glennon and some retread qb while the browns franchise is resurrected? I hope I be wrong and we somehow get manziel.

It sucked to miss out on Megatron but at this point I would take McCoy over Suh. We just have to play the hand we are dealt. Part of this might be that I don't agree that Manziel will be a great QB though. The way I see it there are 3 good passrushers, 2 good OTs, and a dynamic WR that would all help us a bunch. Add in Houston taking Bridgewater at number 1 and we are assured one of these guys is available at 7. I'm good with it. The only QB in this draft I see as really special is Bridgewater and he ain't getting past Houston at number 1.
We missed out on Suh? Sorry but GMAC is a better player. He has looked better with a weaker supporting cast, in a horrible system. So your entire thread is based on missing one player.....I do believe we have missed on more than one...just think of all the #1 picks we have lost over the years by winning meaningless games. If we just went 0-16 every year we would be stacked!!!!!!!
If we would have drafted AP, Willis, revis, or marshawn lynch would we have been upset over CJ?I love watching Manziel, but I don't trust him enough to pick him.

But dude.....meaningless wins are what it's all about
5 years from now when we look back on this draft there will be a handful of stud players that went after where we pick. look at the last 10 drafts. its a guarantee. the best player from this draft could very easily come from the teens and not the top 6. we just need to get it right. as far as the CJ draft goes, we still could have drafted Willis or Revis. we just picked the wrong dude.
You're silly if you think we aren't going to get an elite player in the top 5. By that same logic we as easily could get a bust in the top 5.
We can get an elite, but it should be manziel.Regardless of whether or not he makes the transition, he will no doubt be entertaining. The bucs need to snatch him however they can.Personally, I believe he's going to be awesome in the nfl.

I know its only 1 year so far but arguably the best player in this last draft went where we would have picked at #13.
As a few others have pointed out, Gerald McCoy has turned into a better pro than Suh. He's clearly one of the top DT's in the league and better all around than Suh even if he still does have the big name. The draft is a crapshoot.
