Today’s game is far from a guarantee win for the following reasons:
- Giants offensive and defensive line play are above average. They will get pressure with their front and they will get a push with the offensive line.
- Giants backup QB will take what the defense gives him. And our defense always gives up open receivers. I felt better with their starting playing against us.
- offensive injuries will hurt us. No Wirfs will hurt. Hopefully Evans is close to 100%.
And I forgot. We have historically not played well under Bowles when we’re the favorite.

Playing Tommy boy and not playing Lock was a clear signal to their own team that they were tanking. Lock was the 2nd string QB getting $5 mil and they ignored him. If DeVito was their 2nd best QB why wasn't he the 2nd string? The Giants need to draft a QB and they are in full tank mode to get one.
Lock isn't mobile. He also throws a lot of bad passes, either bad decisions and/or inaccurate/poorly placed. Knew next to nothing about Devito before last Sunday, but I've seen plenty of Drew Lock when he was with DEN. He could get on a streak and play relatively well for a backup, but he's got a lot of warts, and if he starts playing badly, it snowballs in a hurry. Then add in the fact that he isn't very mobile . . .
